Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for  designing, developing, and optimizing advanced analytical solutions that meet business needs. This role focuses on delivering high-quality data analytics and business intelligence solutions, including advanced data modeling, end-to-end dashboard creation, deep dive analytics, predictive modeling, and prescriptive modeling. The Senior Analytics Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement in data practices and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust advanced analytical and business intelligence solutions using Power BI
• Develop scalable and efficient ETL processes and frameworks using both open-source and proprietary technologies such as SSRS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and machine learning engineers to define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analytics engineers and team members
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the productivity and capabilities of the Advanced data analytics & BI team
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve data-driven decision-making
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analytics engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Design and implement the team’s objectives to achieve individual, departmental and organizational objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data related fields with a proven track record in leading Advanced analytics teams
• Extensive experience with Power BI and SSRS
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

 Nice to have:

• Extensive experience with data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and big data technologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience managing multi-functional data teams
