Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Job Purpose: 

The Senior Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing advanced analytical solutions that meet business needs. This role focuses on delivering high-quality data analytics and business intelligence solutions, including advanced data modeling, end-to-end dashboard creation, deep dive analytics, predictive modeling, and prescriptive modeling. The Senior Analytics Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement in data practices and processes. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement robust advanced analytical and business intelligence solutions using Power BI 
• Develop scalable and efficient ETL processes and frameworks using both open-source and proprietary technologies such as SSRS 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and machine learning engineers, to define business requirements and translate them into actionable analytical solutions 
• Conduct deep dive analysis and deliver insights that support data-driven decision-making 
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support strategic initiatives 
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities 
• Document processes, methodologies, and technical designs for knowledge sharing and future reference 
• Communicate complex analytical concepts and results effectively to non technical stakeholders 
• Support and contribute to the evolution of best practices in data analytics and business intelligence
• Provide career management and mentorship to team members, including goal-setting, performance feedback, and professional development support 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or a related field 
• 5+ years of experience in data related. 
• Extensive experience with Power BI and SSRS 
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment  

Bonus to have: 

• Extensive experience with data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and big data technologies 
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) 
• Experience managing multi-functional data teams
