Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing advanced analytical solutions, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet business needs. This role involves leading a team of analytics engineers to implement scalable and efficient data analytics & business intelligence projects including advanced data modeling, end to end dashboard creation, Deep dive analytics, predictive modeling and prescriptive modeling. Additionally, the senior analytics engineer will manage their team's KPIs, drive innovation in data analytics practices, and ensure continuous improvement in processes to support internal and external objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications and industry standards
• Design and implement robust advanced analytical and business intelligence solutions using Power BI
• Develop scalable and efficient ETL processes and frameworks using both open-source and proprietary technologies such as SSRS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and machine learning engineers to define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analytics engineers and team members
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the productivity and capabilities of the Advanced data analytics & BI team
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve data-driven decision-making
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analytics engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Design and implement the team’s objectives to achieve individual, departmental and organizational objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data related fields with a proven track record in leading Advanced analytics teams
• Extensive experience with Power BI and SSRS
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

 Nice to have:

• Extensive experience with data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and big data technologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Experience managing multi-functional data teams
