Outsystem Solution Architect

Job Purpose:

The role involves designing, planning, and coordinating regular updates, recommendingenhancements to existing applications, and ensuring seamless deployment on relevant software platforms. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, comprehend business needs and craft scalable, dependable solutions using the OutSystems platform. Expert in the areas of designing, implementing, and overseeing the OutSystems platform and systems. This will include projects that are both currently in production and those in the development stage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing the expectations of the stakeholders appropriately. The candidate will work closely with them, collect, and understand the required application solution.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, encompassing developers, operations, and tech lead, to ensure successful delivery.

• Designing data models, user interfaces, business logic, and integration points within the OutSystems environment as well as other environments.

• Resolving issues promptly and ensuring smooth application performance.

• Being responsible for and involved in the complete software development lifecycle process. This includes requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Being responsible for OutSystems platform upgrades, incorporation of new features, and staying abreast of industry trends.

• Implementing g robust security measures and adhering to best practices to safeguard data and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Offering technical guidance and mentorship to development teams regarding OutSystems best practices and architectural patterns.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in OutSystems development

• At least 3 years of experience in OutSystems solution architect

• 5 years of experience in .NET development is recommended 

• Experience in Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC 4/5, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Bootstrap,

JQuery, XML, system configuration, and web services.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
