Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of services, and driving business growth. As an Account Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service, identifying opportunities for upselling, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships
- Understand client needs and objectives, working closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products or services.
- Actively manage client expectations, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of issues and concerns.
- Monitor and track client satisfaction, gathering feedback and making recommendations for improvements to products and services.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, goals, and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new clients and ensure smooth transitions from sales to account management.
- Prepare and present regular client reports, showcasing key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and success stories.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and support) to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to advise clients effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related client-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of managing multiple accounts and delivering exceptional client service.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex client issues effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing contracts.
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve client satisfaction and business outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations to clients.
